How does the process go?

At Solo Granite we always want to ensure that everything goes as smooth and easily as possible. We made this check list for you to go through to make sure you are going through the steps correctly!

If you have new cabinets it’s best to wait about 2 weeks before your cabinets are installed to pick out your stone. If you have current cabinets and the layout is not changing we are able to come by and template for your new counters. There is a fee for removing your old countertops. Rates change depending on the material.

New tile always comes after countertop installation. You don’t want to do tile first because the space left for counters is never accurate. If your decide to keep your current tile there is no guarantee that we are able to save the tile 100% during the removal of the previous counters.

How long does it take?

After we come by and make a template, we collect a deposit to get your material ordered. Once material is ordered we need about 5-7 business days depending on the delivery of the material to come back to install. Installation is usually done in one day unless you do a full backsplash. With any full backsplash project we template once countertops are installed and come back another day with the full splash.

We do not do any plumbing, you will have to bring in your own plumber after installation to re-connect your faucet and sink. With tear-outs and demos we only disconnect the sink and faucet but are not responsible for plumbing.
